PROJECT RAVE is an immersive visual experience designed to capture the high-energy, otherworldly atmosphere of a modern rave. Combining dynamic lighting, surreal architecture, and pulsating sound-reactive elements. The environment transports viewers into a digital playground where music and motion collide. Inspired by real-world stage design and underground rave culture, this project uses intricate volumetric effects, 3D models, composition, and vibrant color palettes to evoke a sense of euphoria and collective energy. It's a celebration of escapism, rhythm, and the limitless possibilities of digital space.

mADE FROM THE GROUND UP
I started my 3D rave project by gathering inspiration from real-life rave stages and sketching out some rough ideas. Once I had a direction, I jumped into Blender to model the stage, lighting rigs, and other environment details, keeping everything modular so I could easily rearrange the scene. After modeling, I rigged certain elements—like moving lights and mechanical parts—so they could be moved naturally to match the design I was going for. Then I built out the full scene, placing all the props and stage structures to make it feel like a real event space. For textures, I used a mix of procedural materials and image textures to add detail and realism. Lighting was a huge focus. I used volumetric lights, and environments emissive materials, and certain fixtures to create that intense rave atmosphere. I also added fog and particles to make the environment feel alive and immersive. Once everything was set up, I rendered the scenes in Cycles, then brought it into Photoshop and Lightroom for compositing and post processing. There, I added post effects like glow, color grading, and final polish to tie everything together and give it that energetic, finished look.
